Equipped with wet bar with ice maker and mini-refrigerator, TV, and with ceilings expanding the height of two levels, the family room can easily accommodate the maximum occupancy for this cottage at one time.

The perfect beach cottage for a small family! Cottage 134 is located just a few blocks from the resort facilities and boasts a tranquil back lawn, complete with hammock! Recently completely redecorated, the home is bright, comfortable, fresh and happy. The owner grew up on Sea Island and this cottage truly reflects his sentimentality for the Island. It oozes fun.

Beach house with great location! Situated on the corner of Sea Island Drive and Fifteenth Street, the second house off the beach with beach access all day at Fifteenth Street. This open, airy, and family-friendly cottage is the perfect home base for a memorable family vacation. The large living room has a soaring cathedral ceiling, floor to ceiling windows, and a fireplace. Three separate bedroom wings afford privacy for up to eleven guests. The dining area seats twelve and opens onto a patio with a grill and plenty of room to entertain. The island cottage is decorated with blue and white pillows on white slip-covered sofas and plantation shutters. Our youngest guests will enjoy the use of our crib and highchair available in our cottage with advance notice.

A beautiful rear deck meanders along the rear of the cottage and encompasses the oaks under which you will enjoy a stone fire pit. Completed in spring 2007, phase 2 of Sea Island Lake Cottages continues to make improvements to an already proven design. Lake Cottage 90, in phase 2, offers four bedrooms with private baths; office; great room with living, dining, and den areas; an expanded laundry and pantry conveniently located off the kitchen; and the screened porch with built-in outdoor cooking service that has become a favorite feature in the previous Lake Cottage residences.

The high, exposed wood beamed ceiling gives added dimension to the already spacious master bedroom.

The decorator's use of yellows and golds subtly accent the warm tones of the woods used in the downstairs ceiling features and kitchen cabinetry. The walls are spattered throughout with artwork thoughtfully selected to blend the residence with the natural settings of the island. You will be fascinated by the selection of sea-related accessories and the antler chandelier.

Potential guests will want to know that the fine fabrics gracing the beds and windows along with the somewhat fragile table accessories and the glass dining tabletop make this residence appropriate for adults and children over sixteen.

Cottage 402 is perfect for large families, especially if they have an appreciation of music! The end of Sea Island north of 36th Street is the more tranquil area of the Island. Located on 50th Street, Cottage 402 is self-contained with its own broad lawn, play area and pool. However, it is only a short bike ride to the beach access at 36th Street or only minutes by car to the resort facilities at 4th Street.

The owners’ decorators have combined browns with turquoise accents and natural tones with plush furnishings, terra cotta tile floors and light-colored plank flooring to provide a comfortable haven for families. The cozy living room, featuring a stucco fireplace, leads to a screened porch and pool beyond. It is perfect for enjoying the large screen TV or quiet conversation and reading.

The kitchen, with casual dining for eight and additional seating at the center island, offers generous prep areas with gourmet-style appointments: granite counter tops, Wolf double oven range, an additional wall oven and warming drawer, Sub-zero refrigerator, and more. The dining room is reserved for slightly more formal occasions.

A large family room/music room with copious seating features a baby grand piano. It has direct access to a separate full-service wet bar with its own ice maker and wine cooler. A TV is hidden away in the armoire.

The master bedroom on the first level includes incorporates a writing desk and small office area within the bedroom; two sinks and dressing area are thoughtfully incorporated into the bath design along with a deep, soaking tub and walk-in shower.

The kitchen is especially interesting in the way the architect has expanded its underlying galley design to offer a compact, functional design that is spacious. An elevator services the upper floor. Cottage 34 is within easy walking distance to the beach. A connection for high speed internet access is available in this cottage. The garage is not included in this rental.
 

Newly constructed in 2006; located near resort facilities and only two lots from the beach; thoughtfully furnished and fixtured--but guests are most enchanted by the photo opportunities afforded by the massive oak overlooking the pool (may be heated if reuested in advance of arrival for an additional fee) and rear lawn. Cottage 28 provides five bedrooms with king beds and attached baths for guest convenience. The four upstairs bedrooms enjoy a common TV/sitting room. Downstairs, guests can enjoy each other's company in the great room/living/dining area with fireplace that flows to a generous screened porch with a fireplace of its own. All overlook the pool and fountain feature. Or they may choose to spend some private time in the study. Arches are used throughout to accentuate the Mizner architectural feel of the cottage. Local landscapes are the subject of the quality artwork displayed throughout. The owners have included all the creature comforts--flat panel TV's abound, ice machine, kitchen/dining with butler pantry, wet bar and wireless internet access.

This penthouse residence is impeccably decorated in calming tones reminiscent of driftwood and sand dollars with sea-green accents and beach-themed accessories. Additional, informal seating for four is provided at the kitchen bar. All three bedrooms feature hardwood floors and attached full baths. The master, decorated in pale turquoise and white, has direct access to the living room balcony.
