DeCarLo on Fightingtown Creek is a treasured family retreat turned rental cabin.  The love, memories, and laughter the homeowners poured into the cabin over the years definitely shows! Designed, built, and furnished to be a relaxing mountain escape DeCarLo is stocked with all the basics guests will need to enjoy their time in the North Georgia Mountains.  A cozy first level floor plan with an open kitchen, dining and great room area keeps everyone within sight of each other and in the loop—perfect for cooking in, board games, or movie night!  The main level wraparound porch offers a covered & shady creekside view from either old fashioned rockers or seating at the cabin’s outdoor dining area. Two of the cabins three bedrooms are also on the main level, sharing a full bath and the entire second level is devoted to a spacious master suite, complete with King bed and private balcony with rockers overlooking the rushing waters of Fightingtown Creek below.  

The charm of the indoor living space of DeCarLo is rivaled only by the tranquility and family-friendly functionality of the cabin’s outdoor living space.  The DeCarLo’s large creekside lot is stocked with a net for volleyball or badminton, and a horse shoe pit!  Located literally just outside McCaysville city limits, the cabin is a quick commute to local eateries & shops in the Copperhill & McCaysville.  Less than 15 minutes drive from the Ocoee River rapids, DeCarLo is easily one of the nicest rustic cabin rentals you will find in this great central location, built on a wide, stocked portion of Fightingtown Creek & priced under $120 per night!

Pet Policy: Guests acknowledge, understand and agree that for Agents to continue its very lenient Pet Policy, the following items must be adhered to: Only adult dogs over 15 months old and weighing 25 lbs or less are permitted in pet-friendly cabins. There is a $30 flat pet fee for each reservation. There may be an additional security deposit of $100.00 per pet that will be guaranteed on Visa, MC, Discover, or AMX. Guests agree to be in full control of their pet at all times and take full responsibility for their pets well being. Guests must bring a leash, pet crate, and bedding for their pet. Pets must be secured in their carrier when guests are not inside the cabin. For the pet’s safety never leave pet to wander outside unattended. Pets must be completely house broken, well behaved, and pest free. Pets are not permitted on any of the beds or cabin furniture or in the cabin hot tub or jetted garden tub. Guests agree to pay no less than $100.00 cleaning fee as well as purchase a new hot tub filter if pet gets into the hot tub. Guests will be charged an additional cleaning fee of no less than $80.00 if pet hair causes a delay in cleaning service. Guests agree they will NOT use any linens or towels on pets. Guests are responsible for cleaning up any accidents pets have inside the cabin as well as the pickup of pet waste around the cabin grounds. Guests agree that failure to comply with clean-ups either inside cabin or outside cabin will result in a minimum additional cleaning charge of $80.00. Should damage to the cabin, grounds or furnishings (including linens) or flea infestation occur, the guest is responsible for said charges and will be charged to the credit card on file. If the credit card on file will not cover said charges guests will make arrangements with Cuddle Up Cabin Rentals for replacing and/or repairing the damages. These charges include the time involved by Cuddle Up Cabin Rentals in correcting, clean up, fumigation, replacement, repair of said damages. If any of these Pet Policy items are not met, guests are in violation of the Agreement/Contract.

Three levels, with a three-quarter wrap around covered porch, 100 Acre Wood also has plenty of space inside to unwind!  The cabin’s main level has the eat-in kitchen, great room with sofas and a gas log fireplace, as well as a Master Suite with king bed and flat screen TV.   Through the kitchen, great room, and Master Suite guests can access the gas grill and dining area as well as serene seating on the covered porch.  The cabin’s loft level holds the cabins remaining 2 private bedrooms, each with its own TV and a shared bath.  From the cabin’s terrace level guests can choose to either lounge inside in front of the game room’s flat screen, play a game of pool, or step outside and unwind while soaking in the cabin’s bubbly hot tub or gather around the fire pit for s’mores or a hot dog roast!  Throughout the cabin more traditional cabin decor like handmade log beds and nature themed photographs and art, are mixed with eclectic personal pieces which gives the cabin a unique & inviting atmosphere.  Function and comfort combine and you are instantly welcomed into a home that has been inspired in subtle ways by the beauty, feeling, and wonderful memories made in the mountains, instead of just another house outfitted with woods and bear themed statues and quilts.
